James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

How many believers follow this verse?
The first thing most do when sick is reach for the medicine cabinet.
That’s understandable.
If self-medication doesn’t do it then it’s a trip to the doctor.
That will cost you.
The doctor may know what is wrong and prescribe something for you, even more meds.
Or the doctor may run more tests to figure out what is wrong and perhaps recommend you see a specialist.
This is getting expensive.
Did you know prayer is free?
And the church should provide the oil.
We should seek prayer first and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15
You may still need to go to the doctor and that’s ok.
God does heal through doctors and medicine.
But God also heals through prayer!
