1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God;

In 1 Cor 6:19, Paul says, “do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you.”
As the temple of the Holy Spirit, you are the house of God.
With that said, in a time when so many will say, “Judge not”, this verse commands judgment of self.
Paul said everyone should examine themselves before partaking in the Lord’s supper.
This examination is a type of self-judgment.
It is important for us, as Christian believers, to examine our lives and repent and eliminate sinful behavior.
The world so easily influences and tarnishes all it touches.
However, Christ restores the shine that sin causes.
Now, this self-judgment is not according to how one believes they should act but according to how the Bible says a believer should behave.
Read your Bible, pray for understanding, and live for Christ.
