John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
I was born in the late 1950s.
I have witnessed many changes since that time, just as my parents and grandparents all saw massive changes in their lifetimes.
Many of these changes improve everyday life.
In my opinion, other changes do not improve life but lead to death as sin.
Some are so determined to push an agenda and it matters little to them the consequences to others.
One example is a biological male, who identifies as a female, who was walking around nude in an area for females.
Moms and their little girls saw this man and his male anatomy.
One woman complained to the managers of the facility, who did nothing since the biological male is transgender and identifies as a female.
Even other men sided with the individual, rather than side with protecting the women.
I disagree with the whole transgender thing.
As a result, they will call my “agenda” of Christianity as a way of keeping some people oppressed when they seek to set them free.
I am judged by them as archaic, out-of-date, and hypocritical.
I am troubled by this example.
I am troubled by the politics of the day.
I am troubled by the social changes of the day.
Jesus’ words are a reminder that the world will continue to trouble me.
But I can cheer up!
Jesus has overcome the world!
