No Fear (of God)

Rom 3:18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Paul did not originate this scripture.
That is left to King David in Ps 36:1 – There is no fear of God before his eyes.
If the statement was true in 1000 BC, it is certainly more true in 2021.
I remember when the churches around me could leave the doors unlocked.
Anyone stopping by could go inside and pray and dare not disturb anything out of respect.
My church was robbed/vandalized seven times before I decided to get a monitored security alarm.
Thieves tried twice more, which triggered the alarm.
We’ve had no problem since.
This lack of respect (fear) of God extends past a church building.
It permeates into the lives of individuals.
I had a man quit cussing around me when he found out I was a minister.
However, that was 40 years ago.
Today, no one cares if I’m a minister or not because there is no fear of God before their eyes.
