Me? Not good?

Rom 3:12 There is none who does good, no, not one.

It’s an unfair scripture that groups everyone together.
I think I do some good things.
And the bad things I do are not really that bad.
The scripture could say it differently like “everyone does bad things but some are worse than others!”
Yes, that is much better.
Now I can be justified in comparing myself to someone else.
However, God is not considering my feelings.
He is considering my soul and providing salvation for me.
The only way He can get me to know that I need salvation is to tell me I am not good.
None!
Nada!
Zero!
Zilch!
As for a comparison, I am compared to Jesus and not to you.
Acts 17:31 says, “He has set a day for judging the world with justice by the Man He has appointed, and He proved to everyone who this is by raising Him from the dead.”
I fail in goodness and righteousness next to Christ.
But I shine in goodness and righteousness IN CHRIST!
