There was a time I worked for the telephone company and part of my job included going from house to house in a community and obtaining verbal permission for plowing an underground telephone cable to the house so the aerial could be removed. Continue reading

Three-way marriage!

Linda and me on our wedding day in May 1979.
In 1979 I was getting ready to get married. The date was set for May 4th so there was much to do at this point.
I had read where God had said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Gen 2:18 Continue reading
Sinful desires addressed.
A friend of mine sent me an article called “Gay People Don’t Go To Hell For Being Gay”. You can read it at that link.
My friend wanted to know what I thought.
I read the article and then sent my response. Then posted my response as today’s Morning Thought.(I apologize for any grammatical errors; I was writing in a hurry and on-the-fly!) Continue reading
Being Jealous
I learned another great lesson the other day.

The Wait

I can’t let my guard down!
I set my own standard high when it comes to how I act, what I say, where I go, and what I do.
Okay, maybe the “how I act” is a bit of a stretch since I like to pull jokes, play pranks, and spout quit witted one-liners. Continue reading
Grace is a gift not a reward!
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Eph 2:8-9
One of the harder subjects to understand in the Bible is grace. I believe part of the reason lies in the curse in Genesis Continue reading
Are you boycotting God?
I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:7-8 Continue reading
