Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon. And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. 1 Samuel 5:1-3 Continue reading
But it came to pass on the seventh day that they rose early, about the dawning of the day, and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. On that day only they marched around the city seven times. And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: “Shout, for the Lord has given you the city! Joshua 6:15-16 Continue reading

An East Texas school will no longer read scripture during the morning announcements. This decision comes after a formal complaint was filed with the school by the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
That organization says the practice of Biblical readings is not only offensive to non-Christians, but against the law. According to the FFRF, the decision is a win.

Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 15:57

Victory is mine,
victory is mine,
victory today is mine.
I told Satan to get thee behind,
victory today is mine.

“Hey, he was just exercising his first amendment rights! Lay off!”
“I support stone control! There are too many stones in the hands of our youth!”
“It’s an act of hate against those peaceful loving Philistines.” Continue reading

I cannot preach someone out of hell or into heaven.
I cannot give you peace.
I cannot bring you revival.
I cannot fill you with the Holy Spirit! Continue reading
