Memorable Scripture: Me too!

Matthew 26:33-35
Peter answered and said to Him, “Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.”
Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”
Peter said to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And so said all the disciples. Continue reading

Memorable Scripture: Do this in remembrance of Me!

Matthew 26:26-29
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” Continue reading

Memorable Scripture: Love God, Love each other.

Matthew 22:37-40

Memorable Scripture: An End to Disease.

Matthew 8:16-17
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”

This verse summarizes His ministry.
In previous verses, He healed a leper, a paralyzed man, and a woman with a fever. Add the healing of demon-possessed to it.
No matter the sickness, you can get healing. It may not come miraculously – in an instant. Sometimes healing takes place over time.
The greatest healing for anyone is the healing of sin.
What good does it do someone to live a healthy life, eventually die and be condemned to hell?
Sin is the ultimate fatal disease. It kills every time.
Jesus came and put an end to the fatalities.

Memorable Scripture: The best place to build.

Matthew 7:24-25
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. Continue reading

Memorable Scripture: Lord, Lord

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Continue reading

Memorable Scripture: Straight and Narrow

Matthew 7:13-14
